BHUTAN

A Private Cultural Expedition to the Eastern Himalayas

December 7 – 17, 2026 | Limited to 6 Guests

True luxury is found in rare access. I have curated this intimate, 11-day expedition to take you far beyond Bhutan's standard tourist trail, immersing you in the hidden corners of the Eastern Himalayas.

Over our time together, we will cross high mountain passes to the remote Haa Valley, track endangered Black-Necked Cranes in the pristine Phobjikha Valley, and hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest monastery.

But the true magic lies in the exclusive moments: securing private access to the spectacular Druk Wangyel festival at Dochu La pass, experiencing a private sound bath meditation with renowned healer Yangchen Lhamo, and sharing a final, unforgettable dinner under the stars overlooking the historic Drukgyel Dzong.

Traveling with me means you experience this deep, rugged cultural immersion with the guarantee of frictionless, 24/7 personal care — retreating each evening to the finest sanctuaries in the Himalayas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What physical fitness level is required?

A moderate level of fitness is recommended. While this is a luxury wellness expedition rather than an extreme trekking tour, we engage in daily nature walks and the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (3,155m). All activities are conducted at a comfortable pace.

What is the group size and age requirement?

All of my private expeditions are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 guests plus myself as host to ensure total exclusivity. Please note that all Expedition Muse journeys are strictly for guests aged 18 and over. A minimum of 4 guests is required for this expedition to proceed.

How is high altitude managed?

The itinerary is structured to allow for gradual, natural acclimatization across Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha. Guests are personally responsible for their own health and medical preparation; however, I am on hand to adjust daily paces, and basic altitude support/first-aid is available.

How does the 30% deposit and payment schedule work?

A 30% non-refundable deposit secures your suite allocation upon application approval. The remaining 70% balance is due by October 31, 2026. Because luxury lodge allocations are pre-committed and non-recoverable, deposits are non-refundable.

Are flights to Bhutan included?

International flights to your regional departure hub (such as Delhi, Bangkok, or Singapore) are not included. However, my trusted local Bhutanese ground operator can directly help with securing your internal Drukair or Bhutan Airlines flights into Paro (PBH) if needed.

What visa documentation do I need?

I manage your official Bhutanese Visa clearance and SDF processing upon booking. Guests are responsible for ensuring their passport has 6+ months validity beyond December 2026, as well as securing any required transit visas (e.g., India or Thailand) based on their nationality.
